Welcome to KEET, KEET’s Public Media web site.
I'm David Gordon, Executive Director of KEET. I hope you’ll take the time to explore our site and discover the many ways this community-licensed public television station has a positive impact on your life. While here on this site, you can become a member, check out our current and past programs, discover when your favorite shows will be on, and sign up to become a KEET volunteer.
KEET has a very proud history of being an important part of life here for more than 48 years. We serve our local communities with trusted news and programs that inspire, respect and educate our audience. KEET delivers this service through multiple outlets, including television and digital media, adapting to remain relevant in a rapidly changing world.
KEET provides five distinct channels of programming: PBS; PBS Kids; Create, featuring how-to, DIY and other lifestyle-oriented instructional programming; FNX (First Nations Experience), featuring Native American & Indigenous programming created by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians & KVCR; and World, featuring non-fiction, science, nature, news, public affairs and documentary programming. These five channels include everything from SESAME STREET and CURIOUS GEORGE to MASTERPIECE, FRONTLINE, NOVA, and AMERICAN EXPERIENCE. That is the essence of what we do: Bring programming of cultural, musical, educational and entertainment significance to people who would otherwise never see them.
We rely very heavily on financial support from our members and we would like to add YOU to our public television family. If you are not a member already I hope you'll consider joining as a Sustaining Member today. To find out more about becoming a KEET member and membership benefits, or if you have any questions or comments about this site or about the services of your public television station, call (707) 445-0813, CLICK HERE to reach us via email, or write to us at PO Box 13, Eureka, CA, 95502.
